🌿 Hello everyone! 🌿
My name is Sarina Try, and I'm so excited to introduce myself as the owner of Kneading on the Prairie – Home-Based Clinic here in Carnduff, Saskatchewan!
I recently graduated from Western College of Massage Therapy, and while the journey was definitely challenging, it was also incredibly rewarding. I'm so grateful to begin this next chapter by providing massage therapy services in the wonderful small town I now proudly call home.
I created a home-based clinic because I wanted to offer a warm, peaceful, and welcoming environment where clients can truly relax and feel comfortable. My goal is to provide personalized care where you feel heard, supported, and cared for throughout your treatment.
I specialize in Myofascial Gliding, and I enjoy providing both relaxation massage and therapeutic deep tissue treatments. Whether you're looking to relieve pain, recover from an injury, reduce stress, or simply take time for yourself, I'm here to help you feel your best.
A little bit about me outside of massage—I’m a huge animal lover and have two wonderful dogs: a corgi named Rue and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Keinna. I also have a soft spot for my cats and could happily talk about them all day! I enjoy singing in my church choir, practicing karate, and I'm a big country music fan.
I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve Carnduff and the surrounding communities. Supporting the health and well-being of this small town means so much to me, and I look forward to building lasting relationships with each of my clients.
As a thank you for supporting my new business, I currently offer:
✨ General Massage: $75/hour
✨ Therapeutic Deep Tissue Massage: $80/hour
Thank you for welcoming me into this amazing community. I can't wait to meet you and help you relax, recover, move better, and feel your best.
I look forward to seeing you soon at Kneading on the Prairie – Home-Based Clinic! 🤍🌿
How it all started...
My Story
My journey into massage therapy began after a snowboarding accident that changed my perspective on healing and recovery. During my rehabilitation, I experienced firsthand the impact that massage therapy can have—not only physically, but mentally and emotionally as well.
The care, support, and relief I received inspired me deeply. It showed me how powerful hands-on treatment can be in helping someone feel more comfortable, capable, and connected to their body again. That experience sparked a passion within me to pursue massage therapy so I could help others reduce pain, improve movement, support recovery, and take time to care for themselves.
My journey was also profoundly shaped by my Grandma Gayle.
Growing up, I spent many hours caring for her—helping with everyday tasks, assisting with her dialysis treatments, making her morning coffee, and simply enjoying time together. One of my favourite memories is sitting beside her, listening to Elvis while looking out across the prairie fields. Those quiet moments are memories I will always cherish.
During that time, I realized how much I loved caring for others and ensuring they felt comfortable, supported, and valued. More importantly, I learned that true care isn't just about helping someone with daily tasks—it's about helping them maintain their independence, mobility, and ability to enjoy the simple moments in life.
Watching my grandma gradually lose the ability to do some of those everyday activities was incredibly difficult. It changed the way I viewed healthcare and inspired the philosophy that guides my practice today. My greatest goal is to help people return to the activities they love while empowering them with the knowledge and tools to stay proactive about their health and wellness.
My Grandma Gayle's love for Little House on the Prairie also inspired the name Kneading On The Prairie. Choosing that name felt like the perfect way to honour her memory while celebrating the values she instilled in me: kindness, compassion, resilience, and caring for others.
Today, through Kneading On The Prairie by Sarina Try, I am proud to provide compassionate, personalized massage therapy in the community I now call home. Every treatment is tailored to each individual's unique needs and goals, whether they're seeking pain relief, recovering from an injury, improving mobility, or simply taking time to relax and recharge.
The prairie has shaped who I am today, and I am truly grateful for the opportunity to serve this wonderful community.
For me, massage therapy is about so much more than treating sore muscles. It's about helping people feel heard, supported, and cared for, while giving them the confidence and tools to continue caring for themselves long after they leave my treatment room.
